Designed to be a more durable, user friendly alternative for handhole/pullbox vaults while maintaining a Tier 15 rating. This large handhole provides protection of electrical cabling. The box itself is made of High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), much like the material used to make HDPE Conduit that protects the electrical and communications cables within. This material has unmatched resistance to corrosion and chemicals while remaining durable and flexible in extreme cold.
Installation and maintenance is simplified. The box is light enough for single person installation without the need for heavy lifting equipment. It can be easily sawed for conduit entrance holes or trimmed to custom lengths to match finished grades. The round shape is perfect for coiling excess cabling and seating it on optional hangers attached around the inner circumference. The round cover is easily removed with a simple tool and cannot fall into the box as rectangular ones can.

Bridge Joint Expansion Coupler Installation Expansion fitting is typically installed with its inner pipe exposed approximately 4 inches. This provides for 4 inches of both expansion and contraction from the initial setting. Adjust the initial setting if the movements is expected to be more in one direction or the other. Ensure the HDPE to PVC couplings are fully encased in concrete. A portion of the outer pipe may be exposed with larger joints. Ensure room for expansion/contraction. Foam rubber is intended to keep concrete from forming around the outer pipe. it will allow for minor deflections of the pipes with joint movement. Exposed foam can be removed.
